The prototype of this coach, which is being pitched as the cheapest AC travel in the world, is based on the German LHB (Linke-Hofmann-Busch) platform and has 83 berths that are 11 more than the conventional AC-3 tier coach. The space for 11 extra berths has been created using a slung undercarriage.
